Car Fire, SUV Fire: Resources For Burn Victims

The following are links to websites that have information relevant to individuals and families of those who suffered burns and other catastrophic fire injuries due to car and SUV fires, including due to Ford switch fires.

Burn Care Foundation - Provides national funding for acute care, rehabilitation, and reconstructive burn medicine. The Burn Care Foundation is a division of MercyCare Inc., national non-profit organization dedicated to assisting accident and trauma patients in obtaining specialty medical care for their injuries.

Alissa Alan Ruch Burn Foundation - Founded in 1971, the Foundation works in partnership with firefighters, educators, and burn care professionals to develop innovative programs and services.

Burn Survivors Online - Provides information and support for burn survivors and their families throughout the world. Burn Survivors online is a service of the World Burn Foundation, an international non-profit organization that assists those who have suffered a severe burn trauma gain access to services and support needed to aid in their recovery.

Burns United Support Groups - Contact information for burn survivor support groups.

Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors - A national non-profit organization created to uplift and inspire anyone affected by a burn injury through peer support, education, collaboration and advocacy. Programs and services provide burn survivors and those who care for them, a network of resources.
