Yamaha Rhino Rollover - Lawsuit Information

In Yamaha Rhino rollover lawsuits, plaintiffs represented by Lieff Cabraser charge that

the Yamaha Rhino is excessively prone to roll over during turns even at low speeds because of inherent flaws in its design. Yamaha has been aware for years of serious injuries and deaths of drivers and passengers in rollover accidents, but have yet to modify the Rhino's design to correct for its stability problems.

In addition, the complaints in the Yamaha Rhino lawsuits allege

that the design defect rendered the Rhino ATV unreasonably dangerous as designed, taking into consideration the utility of the product and the risk involved in its use. A safer alternative design existed that would have prevented or significantly reduced the risk of the occurrence in question without substantially impairing the product's utility and was economically and technologically feasible at the time the product left the control of Yamaha by the application of existing or reasonably achievable scientific knowledge.
